Can other brand chargers be used to charge Panasonic rechargeable batteries?
We always recommend using a Panasonic or eneloop charger to charge your Panasonic rechargeable batteries. Panasonic and eneloop chargers are designed to complement the characteristics of their batteries in order to maximise performance.
Most other manufacturers' chargers will be able to charge your Panasonic batteries, but we cannot guarantee optimal charging and operation of your Panasonic due to slight differences in specifications between manufacturers.
Possible issues that may arise when using a charger from another manufacturer:
- Overcharging the batteries repeatedly may result in leakage and a reduction in service life.
- Incomplete charging of batteries may result in leakage and a reduction in service life.
- Terminal deterioration caused by abnormal heat may result in a reduction in service life.
